Race Description: The course runs almost exclusively on single track trails on Chuckanut Mountain! The races features several new trails including the Huckleberry Trail and the Rock Trail. The Rock Trail flows between house sized rocks, fields of ferns, and up, up, up zig zagging wooden stairs to the top of Chuckanut Mountain. From the top, the run follows the technical, winding, and super fun Ridge Trail with lots of peekaboo views of the Cascade Mountains, including the towering Mount Baker.

26.2 mile:  This marathon has a little of everything and will test runners skill on narrow and technical single track trails, long climbs and descents, a shorter steep climb, with some beautiful views from the Chuckanut Ridge, Fragrance Lake, and Lost Lake Trail. Course has about 4,525 feet of elevation gain.  

13.1 mile: A fun and super scenic run through the best trails on Chuckanut Mountain. The course has 2,095 feet of climbing. 


Prices:
Half: $60 until April 30 ($70 from May 1- June 2, day of race $80)
Full: $80 until April 30 ($90 from May 1- June 2, day of race $100)
Long Series & Short Series (save $5 per event)
Kid's race is free!

Check in/Day of Race Registration/Bib Pickup:
Race Day: Race check-in (bib pickup) and day of race registration is from 6:30am to 9:45am at Lost Lake Parking area at Larrabee State Park (6:45am-7:45am for marathon, 6:30am to 9:45am for half).  All runners must check in.

Race Start Time:

7am: Marathon early start ONLY for runners needing more than 7 hours to complete the race. Not eligible for awards.
8am: Marathon Start 
10am: Half Marathon Start
Kid's race: 9:30am at Lost Lake Parking area

Awards: for series age group winners, overall winners, and runners who ran ALL the series races will be presented in the afternoon at the bandshell (the start/finish at Larrabee State Park) at 1:30 PM. **This is the final race in the series, and as such it will be our championship event! We will award additional points to the top finishers in the championships. Stay tuned for details. 

Parking: parking is limited.  Please carpool and show up early so that you can find parking. Parking is at Larrabee State Park and Lost Lake Parking Lot. You will need a Discover Pass to park in the park.  Pass is $10 per day or $30 per year.


Race Start and Finish Location: Race actually begins at Lost Lake parking, but parking is at Larrabee at the Band Shell (South Day Use Area) in Larrabee State Park. The finish and post race party is also at the band shell.

Marathon: mile 3.7, 9.2, 17, and 21
Half: mile 3.7 and mile 9.5

Marathon Cut off Times
7 hour cut off, 8 hour cut off with early start at 7am. Early start is ONLY for people needing more than 7 hours to finish the race. Early start not eligible for awards.
Aid mile 9.2: 11:30am or 3.5 hours
Aid mile 21: 1:45pm, 5.75 hrs

5 hour cut off
Cut off mile 9.5 (aid station #2) is 3.5 hours from start of race.

T-Shirts: Short sleeve, gender specific athletic t-shirt with race logo $25. Shirts are not included in your entry fee, you must purchase them separately.  Shirt is a Chuckanut Mountain Marathon logo shirt. Order your shirt when you sign up for the race on Ultrasignup and pick it up at the race.  Please note that we do not mail shirts! You must pick them up at the race.

Additional Information: Everyone who parks in the park will need a Discover Pass, you can purchase one online by clicking here:Discover Pass. $10 per day or $30 per year.  We highly recommend you support the State Parks and purchase a year-long Discover Pass.

MAPS: You are responsible for knowing the course.  We will mark the course very well with ribbons and arrow signs, but there is always the possibility that someone will tamper with markers, you might run past a key turn, or that you might still come to an intersection where you are unsure how to proceed. You can always print out a map and bring it with you on race day to refer to if you are unsure.  Studying the maps can keep you from getting off course on race day!
