Kid's Race: 9:30 a.m. (1/2 mile)
Race start is at the North Lake Whatcom Trailhead.  (Follow Northshore drive on the east side of Lake Whatcom to it's end at the trail head)

Course Description: First ever race to the top of Stewart Mountain! The Stewart Mountain Half Marathon start at North Lake Whatcom Trailhead (Hertz Trail).  The half marathon runs along the beautiful & blue lake Whatcom before heading up Stewart Mountain for a partial out and back, and MY OH MY the views are sweeet! The race descends by taking a single track trail after some logging roads with stunning views of Lake Whatcom and Bellingham.  Runners will enjoy forest and lake views throughout the race.

Check In/ Day of Race Registration/ Bib Pickup: 8:30-9:45.  All runners must check in and pick up their race bibs.  There will be day of race registration unless the race sells out ahead of time.  Race is limited to 250 runners

Directions to the Race: google map HERE.  Because there is no physical address for the park, the closest we can get is 3200 N. Shore Drive.  If you are using google maps, your destination will be North Shore Drive, Bellingham.  The North Lake Whatcom Trailhead/Park is near the end of N. Shore Drive (south east side of the lake).  Follow N. Shore Drive until you get to the park, you'll take a left.  We are staging the race in the upper parking lot and will have parking volunteers to help you find a place to park.  Please carpool, we have limited parking!!  The County has a description on how to get to the park on their website: http://www.co.whatcom.wa.us/parks/trails/nlkwhatcom.jsp

Parking: Please carpool because parking is limited.  Parking is at North Lake Whatcom Trailhead.

Race Distance: 13.1 mile
Kid's Race! 1/2 mile distance. Kid's race starts at 9:30 a.m.  Kids receive medals for finishing!

Aid:
Aid at mile 4.2 and 11.5. We'll have water, electrolyte drink, gels and snacks.

Post Race Refreshments: We will have yummy post race food and drinks and lots of friends!

Awards: Awards for top 3 male and female finishers. All finishers receive a custom finisher's medal! 

Shirts and Hoodies: Cut off date to order a shirt/hoody is Feb. 20, you can order one when you sign up for the race via Ultrasignup. We do not mail shirts. Shirts must be picked up at the race.

Shirts: Long sleeve, gender specific Patagonia Capilene $39.  Shirts are not included in your entry fee, you must purchase them separately.  Long sleeve shirt is a Stewart Mountain shirt.   Order your shirt when you sign up on ultrasignup.  

Hoodies: $45.  The comfiest, coolest sweatshirt around!  Black, unisex sizing with Bellingham Trail Running Series Logo on the front and the races listed on the back.  Beware: you may not wear anything else after you put this sweatshirt on!
